  1. Hello, my mother has an itching condition. She is 56 years old. She does a lot of treatments in India and in Spain where we are living now. But still, its going on – no effect. My mother has seen more than 15 of doctors and skin specialists, and has done a lot of tests. Some reports say that she has allergies with wheat and some vegetables. My mother is not having that food, but still, she facing same problem of itching. What will we do now? Her weight is 69 k.g. Please advise for this problem. Thanks, Naresh Sejwani.

  2. Dear Naresh, thank you for posting your comment. There is nothing worse than watching a loved one suffer with a medical condition. We send our sincere hope that you may find the right doctor to help your mother. Itching.com is a resource to help connect individuals with others who can offer assistance on skin health and those medical issues, which relate. We encourage individuals of all kinds to post with advice, suggestions and ideas!

While we are not a medical facility, we are hopeful that doctors, physicians and health care professionals will see your post, and will offer suggestions and guidance. Our suggestion to you is to keep looking for a new doctor, until you find the right one. It can be very hard to do, but keep looking! Keep in mind, your mother’s problems might be more severe than a mere skin condition. It could be the result of something more medically serious. It might be wise to find a good General Practitioner who has not yet seen your mom. Let the new doctor look for other medical problems beyond the skin. We wish you the best of luck in helping your mom find the proper treatment for her condition. Thank you for posting.
